1. 23 Boards under 00m in length normally use only the gybing and high wind straps.

2. Those first learning to water start or carve gybe are best off in the flat water to windward by the spit.

3. If the boat crosses the wind from one side to the other, a gybe occurs and the sail is Backwinded and swings across the boat’s centerline to the other side

4. ACADIA Once I gybed in 30 knots of wind 2 miles from the finish with a full main and broke one of the running Backstays, so no Backstays on downwind… no problems
